The Tidewater Intergroup Council's Website of local A. A. provides web based informational services to Alcoholics in the area. This area includes the cities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Smithfield, Franklin, Wakefield, and Boykins, as well as Knotts Island and Moyock, North Carolina. We are directly responsible to those we serve.

Our Intergroup Council (TIC) office is located at 4968 Euclid Rd., Suite C-1, Virginia Beach, Virginia. They can be reached at the phone number below or by e-mail at ticharmony@juno.com.
We are fortunate to have enough support from local members of AA to be able to staff the office during normal business hours. After hours and on weekends the telephone number for help is forwarded to volunteers for 24/7 coverage. If you need literature, have questions or need help with a drinking problem, call the office.

We are fortunate to have 24 hour a day, 7 day a week coverage of our phone to allow anyone who needs help, to talk to a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. We stay sober by being available to help.

Meeting Map
An interactive map of meetings in the Tidewater area is available on this site. This is a great tool for finding meetings. If you are manning the phone watch, keep this page open and you will never have a problem getting the right meeting information to callers. Just enter an address or intersection, and you will immediately see what meetings are nearby. Use the "Show/Hide Filter" button to further narrow your search criteria.
The meeting map allows you to enter your location and see meeting locations in relation to where you are. Select "Filter" and you narrow your search by: Day of the Week, Time of the Day, City, and Meeting Type. Clicking the AA logo on the top left of the map will bring you back to this page.
"OP" are open meetings. Open meetings are open to all including those simply curious about AA. "C" meetings are closed to those who do not have a problem with alcohol. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, you are welcome at closed meetings.
